What “free” means

Standard includes manual accounts and balance records in one consistent currency. It does not include automatic bank synchronization. A home, mortgage or pension can be recorded manually even when an institution does not connect.

Use Premium if you need to keep updating records in several original currencies. Initial account setup can accept a foreign-currency balance on Standard, but subsequent records in a different currency from the portfolio’s existing records require Premium. An initial balance appearing in the dashboard does not mean that ongoing multi-currency tracking is free.

Before choosing Premium

Check your institution in the bank connection directory. Coverage can vary by provider, country and account type. An institution appearing in a directory is not a guarantee that every account or historical record will sync.

You can record an unsupported account manually. The same currency limits apply: Standard for a consistent-currency record, Premium for ongoing records across currencies. Do not pay solely on the assumption that a particular bank connection will work.

Billing and plan terms

For couples sharing, the subscription is per person, not per household. Both partners need Premium and an enabled encrypted vault. At the published €5 monthly web price, two subscriptions total €10/month. See the household workflow and permission checks.

Security and suitability

Manual tracking does not require connecting a bank. Read the security scope and encryption limitations before deciding which information to store. A manual account is still an online PopaDex account, not an offline file.
